Video Production Display at CUH

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and talk to us when we displayed some of our video production work in the Addenbrooke's Concourse today.
Media Studio produces video in house both for CUH departments and for other organisations, whether on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus or further afield. Subject matter varies enormously and we showed examples of video productions for purposes as disparate as

patient and public information;
-
medical education;
-
the demonstration of techniques and procedures;
-
public relations;
-
promotion and marketing;
-
staff training;
-
clinical records and research;
-
fundraising and
-
patient decision-making.
Our videos can be shown in a variety of formats including DVD, websites, YouTube, Macs, PCs, smartphones, tablet computers and PowerPoint presentations.
As well as showing recent projects on three large monitors we had some of our production equipment on display, including our newest video camera and our LED lights. These lights run on rechargeble batteries, they don't get as hot as conventional lights, and they are relatively light weight, so they are much safer to use, especially in a busy hospital environment.
