This prestigious annual lecture is named for Dr Raymond Sackler, an eminent pharmaceutical entrepreneur and philanthropist. The 2016 lecture was introduced by Professor Sir Patrick Maxwell, the University of Cambridge Regius Professor of Physic, and was given by eminent cell biologist, Professor Elaine Fuchs of Rockefeller University. This year's lecture took place at the CRUK Lecture Theatre, Cambridge Biomedical Campus, 25th November 2016 and was filmed by Media Studio.
