The Cambridge Science Festival at CUH

The Cambridge Science Festival 2015 came to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus on Sunday 15th March, with talks and demonstrations for all ages in a wide range of medical matters.

Visitors were invited to get behind the scenes at the hospitals, exploring some of the hi-tech science, research and innovation underway on the Campus.

From looking back at the hospital's archive from 1766, to looking forward to the development of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the programme gave an exciting insight into the future for medical science and research.

Media Studio, working with the CUH Trust Communications Department, produced signage, posters and waymarking, enhanced with Cambridge Blue ribbons, as well as a pocket guide with a site map marked up with six colour-coded zones and a suggested route. This took visitors around the many venues on the Campus: University Technical College, CRUK Cambridge Institute, Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre, the Rosie Hospital, the Deakin Centre and the Clinical School. Our AV Technician, Simon Fishpool, was also on hand to take care of any audiovisual needs and to set up display boards.
