Coming into hospital for surgery is a big event in anyone's life and it can be quite difficult to take in and remember everything everyone tells you. Most patients meet their anaesthetist before an operation and Princess Alexandra Hospital's Anaesthetic Department has prepared a new booklet that explains the process and what will happen before, during and after an operation.

Media Studio designed and printed the leaflet, working with Ann Nutt, Chair of the Patient Panel and Hannah Hobbs, Communications and Engagement Assistant at PAH Trust, to produce a standard and an easy-read version.
