Prince of Wales is shown 3d-printed bone printed by Media Studio

BBC Look East Evening News last night featured a visit by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall to the University of Cambridge Library Exhibition, in which the Prince showed great interest in the 3d-printed replica of a 3000-year old Chinese oracle bone.

The 3d printed replica was recently produced in Media Studio's 3d print lab, together with a number of other rare and unique items from the museum's collection. The Royal couple were in Cambridge to celebrate the anniversary of the Fitzwilliam Museum and University Library.

The library is 600 years old this year and the oracle bones form part of a priceless collection of early writing held by the museum.
