To photograph so many of the theatres team together we needed a high viewpoint, but we couldn't do it outside because staff in theatre scrubs can't leave the building.

 

Luckily, the Trust's Estates and Facilities Department had the answer, erecting a scaffold platform for the photograph to be taken in the Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre. Media Studio's Photographer, Melanie Yeneralski, had to work quickly in this busy thoroughfare while everyone was arranged in a triangle. 

 

The theatres team is a finalist in the 'changing culture' category for their commitment to maintaining a safety culture in theatres. Award winners will be announced at a gala dinner in London on 14 July.
