To ensure you can connect to Pulse MDT we have a test call service
This allows you to test that your firewall allows connection to the PulseMDT server - if not you will see three dots spinning round.
Additionally you can check your camera, microphone and speakers are all working
Web browser connection process:
- Using a web browser, go to PulseMDT webpage (opens in a new tab)
- Allow your camera and microphone if prompted
- Enter your name if prompted
- Select the three dots (top right of white box) and choose your camera and audio devices
- click on the back arrow to return the connection page
- Click VIDEO
- enter test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk
- Click on the camera icon to connect
Videoconferencing system connection (Cisco, Lifesize, etc)
- Dial: test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk
Results
For both of the above connections you should hear a voice asking you to speak and you should see your camera. (as per the image below)
If you only see three spinning dots then you have a firewall restriction or security software blocking access to or from the Pulse MDT server.
