Test Call

To ensure you can connect to Pulse MDT we have a test call service

This allows you to test that your firewall allows connection to the PulseMDT server - if not you will see three dots spinning round.
Additionally you can check your camera, microphone and speakers are all working

Web browser connection process:

  1. Using a web browser, go to PulseMDT webpage (opens in a new tab)
  2. Allow your camera and microphone if prompted
  3. Enter your name if prompted
  4. Select the three dots (top right of white box) and choose your camera and audio devices
  5. click on the back arrow to return the connection page
  6. Click VIDEO
  7. enter test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk
  8. Click on the camera icon to connect

Videoconferencing system connection (Cisco, Lifesize, etc)

  • Dial: test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk

Results

For both of the above connections you should hear a voice asking you to speak and you should see your camera. (as per the image below)

If you only see three spinning dots then you have a firewall restriction or security software blocking access to or from the Pulse MDT server.
