To ensure you can connect to Pulse MDT we have a test call service
This allows you to test that your firewall allows connection to the PulseMDT server - if not you will see three dots spinning round.
Additionally you can check your camera, microphone and speakers are all working
Web browser connection process:
- Using a web browser, go to PulseMDT webpage (opens in a new tab)
- Allow your camera and microphone if prompted
- Name: Enter your name
- Video Address: test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk
- Click on Join with Video
Videoconferencing system connection (Cisco, Lifesize, etc)
- Dial: test.call@pulsemeeting.co.uk
Results
The call will follow the following automated process
- The automated call will ask you to test your microphone (4 seconds)
- Record audio (3 seconds)
- Playback of your recorded audio (5 seconds)
- The call will provide an audio summary of call
- Call ends after 24 seconds
If you only see three spinning dots then you have a firewall restriction or security software blocking access to or from the Pulse MDT server.
