The brief

Her Majesty The Queen and HRH Prince Philip visited Cambridge University Hospitals to open the major new extension to the Rosie Hospital for women's health and maternity services. Photographs were needed for immediate press releases and for continuing publicity following the event.

Our solution

Three of our photographers were on hand to record the entire visit and we think we have captured some of the loveliest pictures of The Queen in the year. Photographs by Jaclyn Swindell, Melanie Yeneralski and Lex Ballantyne.

The brief

Addenbrooke's Department of Ophthalmology is the busiest of all of the outpatient departments and accounts for over 10% of all of Addenbrooke's outpatient attendances. The diagnosis of eye diseases relies heavily on visual imagery and so ophthalmic imaging techniques are an essential part of the Ophthalmologist's armoury.
