Focusing on the people who matter - recruitment and communication photography for Princess Alexandra Hospital

It's often said that an organisation's best asset is its staff, and nowhere is this more true than at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust in Harlow (PAHT). Our photographers went down there to capture some of the inspirational people who work there.

The photographs, all captured in a single busy day at the Trust,  have been used extensively for recruitment campaigns and external public relations media, including the PAHT website and information monitors in public areas around the Trust. They show teams across the hospital living up to the Trust's values: Respectful, Caring, Responsible, Committed.

This photograph was used in a patient information leaflet about anaesthetics.

The hospital recently had a facelift with bright new corridors making it a pleasant environment to work in.

Healthcare Assistants do a vital job of caring for patients and supporting the medical team.

Radiology and imaging is a vital part of modern medicine, requiring high levels of skill and close collaboration across teams.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – modern technology and the skills of healthcare professionals mean that newborn babies that are premature, underweight or unwell are surviving and thriving in ever-increasing numbers.

Our patients: one of the Trust's five objectives is to 'improve the quality of care we give to our patients'.

The care doesn't end when the surgeons finish their work. Physiotherapy is a vital part of patients' pathway to recovery.

The face of the organisation: the first people patients meet are the Trust's reception staff. The caring starts here.
